¿Porqué Los niños de la soja? Why The soy children?

 http://archivo.lacapital.com.ar/2006/09/03/region/noticia_323292.shtml

The tittle of my piece, "The soy children" is because of two reasons: the first oneis that, in the beginning of my research, I founded the following report in internet:
 http://archivo.lacapital.com.ar/2006/09/03/region/noticia_323292.shtml
This report talks about children explotation in the little town of Las Petacas, Santa Fé province, Argentina. They are used there as "living flags" to make visible the land that the "mosquitos", the airplanes, must fumigate.

The second reason is part of the reflection that my piece proposes about what kind of culture needs the particular territorial display of the soy model. One of the main features of the hegemonic culture in visual arts in Argentina since the earlier '90 -excepting a short interruption between 2001 and 2004- was the social and artistic infantilization. This was expressed not only with some particular practices but specially because of their conceptualization, by the artists and the intelectuals, critics and institutions that supported, legitimated and distributed them. Is so funny to see the present effort and interest about art education of the same actors that during the dismantling of the public education argentine system (in all the levels) remained silent.
